Can Someone Fill Me In?

At my writer's group today one of the members was going on about how he heard on the news last night that the "Democrats had officially declared the Tea Partiers racist, and they were all personna non gratta now."

I wanted to say duh they are mostly racist, and ask him what the heck he was talking about, with the "officially declared" line. Before I could open my mouth though one of our group leaders, a fellow liberal, wisely put the kibosh on political talk. She said it was to preserve the unity of our group.

But what the heck was he talking about? Like Stephanie Miller has been known to say, "Did I miss the announcement?" :shrug: How is it suddenly news? Alot of us have been saying for a long time that at least part of the motiviation for the tea partiers is racism.

1. I did not hear anything in reference to that.

That does not mean I could not have missed it if RM or KO said anythng. I might have been out of the room at that time.

And as far as that goes I don't want any of the teahadists near me either.

I had listened to my local ABC news affiliate this morning before I left for the group and didn't hear anything like this either. That's why I was so confused.

He also mentioned listening to one of the local conserative radio talk shows, so maybe it could be from them too.

It was just probably made up Conservative crap per usual. I just wondered if something specific had happened that I missed.

3. I think Olbermann said something yesterday about some

facebook or twitter where someone said he was proud if people called him a Tea Party racist. It was nothing.
