Does anybody know of Motorola phones setting on fire like some Apple laptops and iPods? (I don't.)

I'm thinking of getting an Android phone, the Motorola Droid in particular, and one of the reasons is that I've heard of a Consumer Product Safety Commission document that Apple tried to prevent the release of that was about their products setting on fire and sparking. But that would be a moot point if the Motorola phones had a similar record. Do they?

1. Sooner or later, most lithium battery models experience some failures of this sort.
It's certainly *NOT* peculiar to Apple; recently Dell and Sony laptops
have had that problem and so have most mobile phone vendors.
