If you want to talk about real terrorism...... |

My Mom and Dad are elderly - in their 80's and Mom is pretty frail. They live in a 40 year old subdivision, and a lot of their neighbors are close to their age. The last few weeks someone has been going up and down the street breaking in to cars and homes. In at least one case the owner was home when the break-in occurred.
Now, this is in a the # 3 safest city in America; Amherst, NY. My guess would be that somewhere in the neighborhood is a white male 18-25 looking for some easy cash.
There has been no sign of increased police presence, but then, as my Dad says, there are no donut shops on the block and the patrol cars are too busy stopping people for DWB.

for theives, scammers, etc. The local PD should be there on patrol every night. Maybe some young guys with a few hours to volunteer to drive around the neighborhood. Why can't we help each other out?

4. I live about 200 miles way. I think my folks' info actually comes from a Community Watch group |

since someone has gone door to door informing people of what's happening. One of the college kids will be moving in with them for the summer.
