1. Wow. Can Sestak beat Toomey? I actually think he has a better shot then Specter.

2. I believe he has a great shot
Some appeal in Republican areas of the state, due to his military background. The energetic support of the activists who would have given him the primary win. He's a non incumbent running in a bad year for incumbents. Once he paints Toomey as a far-right winger, he can really build a coalition of liberals and moderates.

12. I think Sestak will do better against Toomey than Specter would
although polls (I think) don't show that yet.

Sestak is fired up and the hardest worker you'll ever see. With the big guns supporting him after the primary, he'll blow Toomey's doors off. :)

3. All I know for sure is ol one bullet Specter needs to go
He's a tool no matter the party he affiliates with and the last thing we need is to keep a tool

6. I am glad Sestak is making a run at Specter ...
People need to understand that Sestak is not particularly to the "left" ...

He's no Bernie Sanders.

That being said, he staked his flag as a D, and frankly we need more Sestak types - good military creds, tough, independent and willing to take on the system.

The state party threw in with Specter cause they think he is the best chance for a win. Now, while he is not a horrific R in a day and age when 99 percent of the Rs in Washington are complete autobots who vote uniformly with the party, he will break the other way as a dem. He will be absolutely WORTHLESS as a dem on Wednesday of next week, he will start to tact right the moment he crawls out of his oxygen chamber and gets dressed.

Also, I think while we have to be pragmatic, there is something to be said for taking a stand on a guy like him who clearly is interested in his skin more than anything else. I hate Lieberman more than I can stand, and I have a VERY hard time trying to square supporting Specter for the same reason.

My yard and my spot on the road has three yard signs - Onotaro, Sestak and Conklin ... I have supported Sestak all along, and I will take his chances against Toomey if he can get past the snake in the grass ...

He has had the best ad yet, btw - noting that specter has been most concerned about saving one job - his ...

4. Specter's "unfavorable" rating in this poll is @ 34%, compared with
Sestak's @ 14% (with 35% unsure). Seems Sestak remains an unknown quantity to many likely voters - which I assume his campaign is aware of and addressing.

16. they're aware :)
and addressing it.

I think Sestak has some amazing people working for him. (And I haven't seen the turnover specter's smear ads allege ... the same people are working on the campaign now has have been for months, as far as I can tell ... I don't recall any major changes  )

anyway whether they pull it off may hinge on many things, but there is definitely a plan, and a good team working it. :)

14. If they were asked if their loyalties are for secrecy or the people.
What would each candidate say?
