Why doesn't the American govt. outsource the military to another country?

I mean, if corporations can outsource jobs for profit, to save money... why stop there?

By the time they realized that an outsourced military was a really awful idea, the barbarians they trained and armed were sacking and plundering the remnants of a vast empire.
