The Left is getting louder. And Facebook is getting funnier.

I'm seeing an interesting trend on Facebook. Liberals are responding more and more to the right-wing-y posts, rather than just letting them slide. It's encouraging. In fact, on John Cornyn's Facebook page I think the comments are pretty evenly split.

Funny exchange the other day:

1. Cornyn posts a link to an editorial about how Obama "owes answers on how he handled the Times Square suspect."

2. An Obama supporter writes: If we keep killing innocent citizens in foreign countries we need to continue to expect terrorism. Hundreds of Afghan citizens killed by our drones in the last year.

And 3. A Cornyn supporter responds: You call the men and women overseas protecting YOUR freedom DRONES????? I will buy you a first class ONE WAY ticket to Afghanistan, Iraq or any other country that treats women like pieces of mindless property to be used any way they want. YOU don't deserve to live in this country. If it's so bad, GET THE HELL OUT!!!!!



Ok. Maybe the right-wingers are still louder. But they're also very funny.

5. Lefties should be responding to the 'baggers and RW

loons on all message boards. Sign up for an account at your local newspapers' websites and respond to the loons. It's amazing how many crazy people are out there and what they post thinking no one knows who they are. One nut job this morning said that teachers get a $10,000 bonus at the end of each school year. Damn. I want to work in that district! Of course he was just pulling that number out of his butt. Immediately several teachers responded saying as much, but very politely of course.
