As the GOP turns more and more to the right, the less they would be able to govern effectively
I'm sure that there a mathematical equation in there somewhere to demonstrate why this is the case.

It's just that I'm not very good at math.

3. They don't believe in big government until they come to power
Then, while hamstringing some of the most important and constructive parts of government, like oversight and regulation, they expand government in other ways--and install their "Manchurian Candidate" wingnuts to frustrate the effective functioning of the bureaucracy for years to come.

6. They can't govern effectively because.......................
they don't BELIEVE in government. How could anyone logically EXPECT them to govern or at least govern well? If you don't believe in an institution there are only three reasons to have any thing to do with it. Either ideologically to dismantle it or to get what you can out of it OR some combination of the two.
