1. Further proof that a week is an eternity in politics
In another week it could easily go back to what it was May 2nd or

Everyone in the Democratic establishment will be telling us how solidly behind Sestak they've always been

6. Good for Sestak! I'm doubly rooting for him after Specter
made the comment that for this election maybe he should have remained a Republcan.

7. I hope you all know what you want - Sestak is a DINO, more so than Specter.
He will be another Blue Dog problem if he is elected.
Specter is endorsed by the AFL CIO, has been very good for workers even as a 'publican, which is one reason they hate him so much.
In the debate last week, Sestak said very little and I felt he was not trustworthy.
The debate changed my mind -
I'm voting for Specter.

8. Hi, old mark. I'm not sure that's fair about Sestak. He has an ACLU

rating for 2007 of '100.' Specter's is '57.'

Also, if you scroll all the way to the bottom of this page --

http://www.ontheissues.org/PA/Joe_Sestak.htm

-- Sestak is rated as a moderate liberal. He's good on stem cells, reproductive freedom, glbt rights, and quite a few other decidedly identifiable liberal issues.

Sounds pretty good to me.

9. Well, the way it is going, I am afraid we might get a chance to find out.

I supported Sestak at first because I didn't like that SApecter had been PROMISED support of the PA and national Dem party when he switched by both Obama and Rendell (I was a state employee under Rendell - I hate him.) That alone was reason enough for me to vote for Sestak. But his words over time led me to mistrust Sestak, and I am not comfortable with him - he sometimes talks a good game, but I just don't feel he is honest.

I'm also voting for Hoeffel for Governor in the primary.

10. Could be. The National Organization for Women's Philadelphia chapter
endorsed Sestak today.

And Sestak is up another 2 percentage points in the tracking poll.

11. Maybe This Will Help Convince PTB To Stop Shoving Candidates Down Our Throats
They've doing too much orchestrating and putting in people who don't share our concerns. The Lamont/Lieberman race where they all but publicly dissed Lamont, the actual dem candidate, was a disgrace.
