Mother's day on country radio

There is something here, but I don't know what it is.

Yesterday afternoon I found myself listening to a very small "Oldies" and Country Music radio station. The announcer-ette was having a contest in which she named several things and asked which of them would be the worst present to give for Mother's day. The question was asked, a song played, and the lucky winner got to speak on the air. The question was asked again, the correct answer given, and then some trinket was awarded to the lucky caller. A very short conversation followed in which the Announcer-ette asked something on the order of 'how will you and your mom spend the day tomorrow'? The answer, 'well, we won't. She's in rehab'. The conversation ended abruptly, and "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" soon followed.

Happy Mother's day. Oh, the worst present is a Toaster.
