Where is the live coverage of the spill in the Gulf?
The live feed loop over and over, interviewing those who will be effected by this disaster for generations, losing their business, perhaps forced to leave the area they and their families lived for generations, the lost animal and marine life.

Media will focus on a fucking cooler, and kid with a snot nose or some other bullshit and I've not seen any in depth coverage of this monumental disaster!!!

Yes, there have been minutes of interviews and news on some various cable shows but, let's really get into the nitty gritty and show the ugly - and repeat, repeat and repeat.

7. 24/7 repetitive coverage is generally reserved for high-profit scare stories, or Corporate/RW Psyops
Edited on Sun May-09-10 11:31 AM by tom_paine
Like 9/11, missing attractive white women, the Phony Saddam Statue Toppling or Teabaggers gatherings of a dozen people. (I'll leave you to judge which events falls into which category)

Making the Corporate Masters angry by doing 24/7 propaganda broadcasting against OTHER Corporate Masters is simply unacceptable.

And simply not permitted.

13. This is why bp is constantly up
Trying to respond to bullshit with fact and logic to those who are mis-informed because they are either too busy to pay attention and the way the news has disintegrated into infotainment does not help. I don't waste my time on die hard stoopids but, some people are genuinely misguided.

The name of the game seems to be 'chase your tail'. Jobs, kids, and general life are demanding, if it's not kicking the crap out of them in a real way right now - they don't pay attention.

9. None of the oil has tried to evade the police...
...during a high speed chase yet. Nor is the oil cute and blonde. The networks have their standards, you know.

11. If the media could blame the Obama administration,
then there would be round the clock coverage.

But Brownie's and Limbaugh's efforts to make people believe Obama let it happen on purpose have not succeeded.
