2. Insane. Besides that, the apostrophe on "citizens" is omitted.
Edited on Sun May-09-10 11:42 AM by John1956PA
And, it would read better as "Revolution against a corrupt government.

7. It's not grammatically correct either
- "Revolution of a corrupt government" should be "revolution against a corrupt government."

Also,

"Beast" should be "beast" unless the reference is meant to be a euphemism in which case "the" should also be capitalized.

12. Good catches. Someone paid a lot of money for it, but did not have it competently proofed.
It seems that questionable and/or hasty judgment was involved in the production of the sign. That does not speak well of the temperament of whoever commissioned it.

on his sign...even when it's a billboard!

23. Ah, you must seek the "code words"
"The Beast," or, more colloquially, "THE BEAST!!1!" As in "The Beast" in the buybull. In the back of the book. Don't give away the ending!

9. They probably used all the apostrophes in the plurals in their literature
"Calling all patriot's! Let your voice's be heard! Lest we never "forget", we'll throw in some "gratuitous" quotation mark's to!!"

6. -1 for poor grammar
Where's the apostrophe in "A citizens guide..."?

What the hell does this sentence mean: "A citizens guide to Revolution of a corrupt government"?

Are we getting a "guide" to "Revolution of a corrupt government"? What is a "Revolution of a corrupt government"? Is the corrupt government going to revolt?

Have these people ever heard of the military-industrial complex? Do they know why the government appears corrupt?

I dare anyone to put up a billboard that calls for the dismantling of the Department of Defense and the CIA/NSA.

8. These people believe in the concept of majority rule.
But only if the majority rules in their favor. That's because they know what's best for everyone and our opinions matter only if we agree with them.

They are what they think they hate. They are fools.

For the same reason that anonymous domains by proxy should be prohibited.

20. I saw a big sign in a front yard of a well-off neighborhood
yesterday it said VOTE FOR FREEDOM. I would like to know what f----g freedom those a--holes lost since Obama became President. Any freedoms they lost was under Bush. I am not kidding as I was typing this I just got a call from the NRA claiming the Obama Administration has teamed up with some type of international group that is planning to confiscate our guns. I told him to F---- himself.

21. Yeah, I've seen it.
At first, I didn't even understand what message it was trying to convey, as at first reading, it made little sense to me.

But then I got the gist of it...stupid people with money to waste will always find someone to take it from them.

All this Teabagger bluster and blather makes me laugh.

They will willingly enslave themselves to the Billionaire Class, thinking that as loyal vassals they will one day get a seat at the table.

They see themselves as part of that social strata, whereas in all reality, those that are actually calling the tune, make their puppets dance for their amusement.

And he brought his black family, too!

Racists. Bigots. Full of hate because they fear those who don't look like them, think like them, and act like them.

And a big billboard won't make them any bigger. Fools.

30. this replaced the infamous "Obamanation" billboard outside Kansas City.
http://www.kctv5.com/news/21176602/detail.html

It's been this new one since the beginning of 2010. I had to see it a few times before it even made sense to me if it was pro-obama or anti govt or what? This one seems more anti-govt in general rather than blatantly anti-Obama. Hell this one could even be representative of the Bush Admin.

I think they took it down for a month or so but I've noticed it again the past week.

It's really strange how I know it's there so I really don't want to look but I almost can't drive by without looking at it.

38. You are right!! Dang, I drove by this morning and it's gone but I swear I saw it last week!
Now it's just blank with the phone number at the bottom if anyone wants that space. I swear though, my wife and I drove out to Grain Valley last Wednesday evening and I specifically remarked on it.

Then again, we are T-Minus 1 Month until the baby gets here so basically everything in 2010 so far is just one giant blur in my brain. I'm 95% sure that I saw it up last week and commented to my wife about it. Weird....

It may have been up last week. This is the second sign that same guy has put up in that spot. Channel 5 did a story on him and the sign back in October. He told them he was planning on using that billboard for more signs against Obama.
