8. Good advice. I tried to be friends last year with an extreme Glenn Beck devotee. She

wanted to move to Montana to wait for Jeebus to come since he was going to come any day now, surely within the next year, and only Glenn Beck and Sarah Palin could save the constitution and the US and deliver us unto the Lord as a nation. Real religious nutcase originally from Queensland, Australia. (Murdoch comes from Australia, too...coincidence, I wonder, or are lots of Aussies insane right-wingers?)

I just could not do it. I tried so hard to be friendly with her for the sake of my husband (it was another military family, we are expected to socialize) but I just could not be close friends. I bit my tongue as long as I could but then finally called her a racist for a racist piece of crap she sent me and that was that. I was relieved to say the least that she was out of my life.

Best to just avoid them.
