64. I would drive the van
...into downtown Baghdad with Hannity in an orange jumpsuit and shackles, along with Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, and the others, in orange jumpsuits and shackles.

I would push them out of the van and announce, "Here are the ones who lied about you having WMDs so we would invade and destroy your buildings, pillage your museums, and murder your citizens."

And I would go back home and sleep quite well that night...

There was a reason for this...

...and it wasn't because "they hate us for our freedoms."

61. I think Hannity gets blisters when he strokes Coulter's male member...
Hannity 'says' he is a Christian, but he makes his fortune by 'bearing false witness against his neighbors'. What kind of 'Christian' violates 'God's Commandments' to enrich themselves? And what does Jesus and his disciples say about hypocrisy and the rich? Hey Hannity, guess which direction you will be going? Better bring a cooler with you.

They have the strangest idea of what a Christian is and does. Nothing to do with what the Bible or Jesus has taught us. If Jesus came back they would denounce him as a liberal anti-everything.

Edited on Mon May-10-10 09:21 AM by Vogon_Glory
If the Shammity lad were to go to Iraq and try to collect on his "bill," I'm sure that Iraqis from almost any end of the Iraqi political spectrum would amaze the world by how they showed their gratitude. I'm also sure that their expression would make a horror movie splatter-fest look tame and unimaginative.

16. I've been waiting since 1974 for history to show what a crook Nixon was
And since 1980 for Reagan to be shown as the double-dealing traitor he was for the way he undercut Carter's negotiations for the Iran hostages. And since 1986 for the utter criminality of Reagan and so many of his administration in the Iran Contra Affair to come out.

And it has not happened. I might have 30 years of life left to me and I don't think the truth will come out as far as the general public is concerned as long as I live. The assholes are in charge and are busy re-writing history in their favor.

Outrage outrage outage.

The war's a tragedy, it never should have happened, I'm outraged about the human and monetary costs and the moral price this country has paid. And I personally knew people who have been killed there.

But, your cherished trials are never going to happen, and never would happen, even if the sainted Kucinich were President of the United States. Just as a Bush/Cheney impeachment was never going to happen in 50 billion years.

If it makes you feel better, go ahead and lament the lack of accountability, wail and gnash your teeth for the rest of your days. Or, you can wrest yourself from dreams of vengeance and figure out something positive to help those whose lives have been changed forever by the senselessness of it all.

55. This is just an extension of making the family pay for the bullet
used to execute someone. It's a method of terror. The Soviet Union used this tactic frequently. Hannity is a Soviet and a terrorist at heart.

57. Insanity Hannity
New definition of INSANITY:

Launch an unprovoked war under false pretenses, causing at least 100,000 deaths and widespread destruction, then make them the victims pay for their own suffering.

58. Sad thing is, they probably will pay us back, but not in the way Hannity fantasizes.
We terrorized them all these years, and we will suffer the consequences for decades to come in human lives and American dollars as we battle more terrorism, more hatred, and unless we grow up, more wars on our part. What we are battling now is the consequence of decades of Imperialism in the first place.

Europe and Asia learned after WW II and their lost generations and devastated lands that war is worse than the compromises required to prevent it. We've never paid the full cost for a war, so we can still think of it in John Wayne heroic imagery. We look at Pearl Harbor and the World Trade Center and think "Yeah, we've suffered." We don't know suffering. If we don't grow up, we will.

That's what we'll be paid back, Mr. Hannity. We will be paid back what we've sown.

60. Mission Accomplished!
Señor Hannity just bumped his viewing audience up a notch. That's definitely worth a bonus. Congratulations are in order.

62. I think Hannity, of all the RW nutjobs, actually is the True Believer.
My hunch is that Beck is a professional clown, that Limbaugh is laughing all the way to the bank, even people like Mark Levin, Wiener Savage and Ann Coulter are all just running their rackets. But Hannity seems to actually believe his own bullshit. He's astonishingly ignorant, but he has the ability to run his mouth for a long time and fawn over whatever criminals he's featuring.

79. Actually, the American people should get reparations for enduring Hannity this long.
His crazy and ignorant rants are a war crime in itself.

85. The number of Iraqi deaths reported as 96,037and 104,754
are from the Iraq Body Count website. They cite only known deaths. There are many more killed than that. Unknown deaths and deaths due indirectly from the war could be estimated into the tens of thousands as well. Possibly the hundreds of thousands. Plus deaths yet to come from exposure to Uranium and other weapons. So much suffering and for what? The Dixie Chicks had it right. For that black gold.
