Poll Shows Some Birthers Approve Of Obama's Job Performance..
They can't keep the crazy straight.

A new ABC/Washington Post poll finds some curious facts about Birthers, the people who think that President Obama was born in another country instead of in Hawaii. As it turns out, there is a divide between those who only suspect this to be the case, and those who think there is solid evidence -- and furthermore, some of them approve of his job performance.

*snip*

Among the 20% who said Obama was born elsewhere, only about half thought there is solid evidence that Obama was born elsewhere, with the other half saying it was only a "suspicion." This would make sense, since the initial question gave only 14% who said another country, with another 6% of leaners then being pushed -- so the latter group would seem the ideal source of people who think Obama was born elsewhere, but also say that they can't prove it.

Furthermore, two-thirds of birthers disapprove of Obama's job performance, with a third actually approving.

The same ABC/WaPo polling sample had Obama's approval rating at 54%, with 44% disapproving. This puts Birther approval of Obama at about 20 points behind the norm. The poll of American adults has a margin of error of ±3.5%.

1. Those are the people who we can reason with
That minority of birthers who approve of his job performance; they are just not terribly educated and need to be given the correct information. They are like small children.

2. I knows one of those people.
He thinks Obama was born in Kenya and is probably a Muslim but he also thinks Obama has done a good job cleaning up Chimpy's mess. Talking with this guy makes my head spin so I tend to avoid him.

4. Well crazy but at least he is honest about the economic progress
They are all crazy to some degree to be a birther.
Most are diversity void, and some add anger, etc.
But Jesus Christ did that poll say with prompting that 20 % leaned birther??? WTF is going on in this country??
Hispanics constituted 15% of the nation's total population last year and that is from all countries to make a comparison point of how large the amount of people who really do not believe Obama was born in US and it sounds like too, is Christian.
I am surprised and hope the error margin is incorrect on this one !
scary

3. Sometimes I am astounded at what idiots people are
How does one get people to realize they don't have to believe something just because they heard it on the radio? That is where some of these people are coming from - they've heard the POTUS was born in Kenya on teevee or the radio, so they think there must be truth to it.
