Michael Boren Williams is dead

Michael Williams of Switzerland died in April 2010 aged 58 years. He had recently been convicted of yet another offence of dishonesty and was expected to spend more time in jail. I have not heard what the cause of death was, but he did have very high blood pressure all his life. At the time of his death he had left his wife and daughter and had gone to live in another town.

This may be a relief to those he has defrauded and conned over the years. He spent time in jail in the United States for mail fraud. He went to live in Switzerland and then set himself up as a victim of the Bush administration. This was a lie to cover up his fraudulent and illegal activities and to get sympathy and money from the thousands of people he contacted over the internet. As the years went by his 'story' got bigger and bigger.

While in Switzerland he defrauded several people of hundreds of thousands of dollars. He told lies about being starving and having to live on 'bird bread' and 'berries'. He told lies about being the '5th Beatle' and having composed John Lennon's greatest songs such as "Imagine". He started out in about 1998 telling people he knew the Beatles and then the story grew from that to allegedly writing all their songs.

A second-rate songwriter, he did compose a number of songs which can be found on the internet. However, they have little musical merit, are repetitious and the lyrics are trite.

Some have said that as Michael Harold Pigecella he was convicted of paedophile offences years ago. He also used the name "Michael Harold Williams".

In some ways he was a 'loveable rogue' who had a brilliant mind and could be very amusing.
