Schwarzenegger on Arizona: 'With my accent I was afraid they would try to deport me'

Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger joked that he was afraid of being deported in Arizona during a commencement speech he delivered Monday at Emory University in Atlanta.

Schwarzenegger's office provided a copy of his prepared remarks and confirmed he made the Arizona joke.

"I was also going to give a graduation speech in Arizona this weekend," Schwarzenegger said. "But with my accent I was afraid they would try to deport me."

9. He should be deported. He worked in this country when on a visitor's

visa. In other words he was an undocumented immigrant working illegally here before he got into the movies. But he's the "right kind" of immigrant so he got a pass.

I have tried it before. My wife's relatives live on the Missouri/Arkansas boarder and when we go down to visit they can't understand us and we can't understand them. Takes about a week before we can begin to converse kind of normally.

Then when we come back north no one up here can understand me because of the heavy accent I acquired while I was down south.

I am lilly white but I wont go there out of principle now and I live right next door. Like many of the knuckle dragger's policies they never think of the consequences of their legislation. When Arizona goes belly up because of lost revenue I am going to laugh my ass off and point directly at this dumbshit law.
