....Hell.....If thats all it takes to get on the High Bench then the next vacancy I am going to Washington DC and campaign for a local politician in my state who has equal amount of government service and has taught in a law school as well.....

....She was fronted because she is the path to least resistance in conformation....

2. I am not against Kagan but why does what Axelrod say matter? He spouts talking points.
He certainly isn't unbiased. I don't really necessarily believe that prior judicial experience should be a deal breaker but it isn't a negative and community service or other areas of contribution are NOT a substitute for it. If a candidate doesn't have it , they don't have it.They may have other wqualities that are superior.tout those instead of apologizing for what they don't have otr attempting to diminish judicial experiemce as a value.
