Gag order over turtle necropsy's

I’m seeing PR spin seeded into the media already distancing the deaths from the oil spill. There is more information here in my last post about the toxicity of the oil dispersant chemical British Petroleum and the US Air Force, (under an agreement with the Coast Guard), are using in massive quantities on the spill.

The interview with Dr. Solangi indicates that the federal government is controlling the sea turtle death investigation with no independent scientific oversight, and that seems to be a conflict of interest as far as transparency since the federal government is using the dispersant and also approved BP’s failed ultra-deep water drilling project.

Emotions aside, what kind of actual action can I do to make ANY of this better? I feel even more small & helpless in the face of this disaster than usual. The best I guess I can do is try and coordinate a hair donation from the local salon. :rolleyes:

Sounds like the Gulf waters have surely turned into a hell on earth.

My veterinarian has gone to the area to help out. Her husband, whose specialty is fish, sea mammals. and turtles, is with her as well.

Why does Salizar still keep his position? Why are the Cheney holdovers still in place?

The oil companies ,chemical companies,military, agribusiness,big pharma,and more..all of them poison everything we come in contact with.Some still cling to the idea 'lifestyle changes' can undo the long term bodily harm of living in a toxic poisoned world that has become a chemical-bio-hazardous mess.A mess that covers this earth with tons of under tested or not even tested chemical,industrial, bio,military wastes that each one of us has absorbed into our bodies because we breathe it,drink it,eat it,absorb it by existing. Millions of different ratios and combos of wastes and toxins has entered some of our bloodstreams before birth..And we are supposed to think a"lifestyle change" will help us become somehow toxin free, healthy and happy in a poisoned world that has a moral imperative to not give a shit who suffers and dies if they are not rich or 'connected' to the so called elite.

I hate this fucked up society,fucked up bullshit game of make-believe.
