Apply "Thou shalt not kill' to warmongering to spread capitalism.

Apply it to right wing Christian 'leader' Pat Robertson when he calls for assassination of lefty world leaders, like Hugo Chavez. Or when PR supports the US backed regime in Colombia as that regime commits genocide on labor activists and union organizers.

Apply it to Christian RW preachers that pray for Obama's death.

Apply it to Glen Beck when he calls for a violent, bloody revolution.

Apply it to the Iraq and Afghan war dead.

Apply to our dead soldiers.

Our nation makes choices. Our government chose to violate "Thou shalt not kill'. RW Christianity chooses to violate "Thou shalt not kill" as they advocate for war.

A so-called Christian nation has gone to extraordinary lengths in it's centuries long choice to violate one of their 'gods' commandments of "Thou shalt not kill".

That is what I always hear from the Christian right when I bring that up. I've spoke with military chaplains who preach the same thing as a way to justify blowing up civilians to recruits. That is what they interpret the commandment to mean.
