On the ballot to replace the 9th District’s former representative are eight candidates, six of them Republicans — Bert Loftman, Bill Stephens, Chris Cates, Lee Hawkins, Steve Tarvin and Tom Graves — along with a conservative independent, Eugene Moon, and a Democrat, Mike Freeman.

I just got an email from the Gainesville Times stating they expect turnout to be very low! My hubby & I havee already voted FOR THE ONL DEM ON THE BALLOT! If you live in the Ga. 9th district ( around Gainesville, Flowery Branch etc.) or know someone who does, please vote today and get your neighbors to do so too!
