1. The change in tone at DU since Jan '09 suggests...

that it is "only possible for us to be united in purpose when our backs are against the wall".

Everyone was against Bush and seemed to opposed his policies.

Now that Bush is gone but the policies remain, half the posters are against the other half.

Example: I'm against war escalators, others are against Obama critics.

It really is about who we're against. Not what we're for.

Sad.
