DJ Shannon Burke To Be Released
Former Radio Personality Sentenced In Shooting Of Wife, Dog

ORLANDO, Fla. -- In just a few hours, former Real Radio DJ Shannon Burke is scheduled to be a free man.

Local 6 has learned that Burke will be released from the Orange County Jail on Thursday.

Burke spent four months in the Seminole County Jail for shooting his wife and dog. He was transferred to Orange County to serve time for violating his probation.

Catherine Burke and the dog have recovered from the shooting.
