He loves me. He loves me not.....
I cannot keep up with the US government's treatment of Karzai or his treatment of the US government. One minute he was persona non grata, and now he is being feted in DC.

It makes my head spin. I may not know much about whatever the hell is going in Afghanistan in any area. I do believe, however, that this constant spinning is ruining anything we try in the country.

If we can't even get a handle on the government we backed(?), then how can we get a handle on anything else. It would appear that we are trying to work our way with local leaders one by one.

The soldiers over there may just be keeping the country in some kind of control while we muck about in Pakistan. That is no reason to tie up so many troops and get many of them killed or maimed.

I wanted us out because I didn't believe it was a country that could ever be controlled. Now I want us out even more because it seems that we are playing 'whack a mole' and the moles change daily.

It's well past time for all kinds of spinning to stop and GET OUT NOW!
