Woman Rescued From Fire; Cat Revived
Ocala Firefighters Pull Woman From Home

OCALA, Fla. -- A woman is in serious condition after being pulled from a house fire in Ocala Wednesday night, and her cat was revived by firefighters.

A fire broke out about 9:30 p.m. at a house located at 615 Southeast 29th Terrace in Ocala.

Neighbors said the blaze appeared to start on the back porch, and the woman was spotted near a window.

Firefighters, however, were able to pull her from the home.

The woman's 2-year-old Siamese cat, named Hannah, was found unresponsive lying next to a bed, but firefighters were able to revive the animal with CPR and oxygen.
