Laura Bush: Pro-Choice, Pro Gay Marriage

Laura Bush Is Pro-Choice, Pro Gay Marriage

Former first lady Laura Bush kept mum for eight years on two cornerstone issues of her husband's presidency: gay marriage and abortion. All that changed on Tuesday when she came out in support of both issues on Larry King Live. "There are a lot of people who have trouble coming to terms with because they see marriage as traditionally between a man and a woman," she said, adding, "when couples are committed to each other and love each other, that they ought to have, I think, the same sort of rights that everyone has." Mrs. Bush also mentioned that she believes the legalization of gay marriage is forthcoming. On the issue of abortion, she said that it should "remain legal, because I think it's important for people, for medical reasons and other reasons." Despite the differences between herself and her husband, Mrs. Bush insisted that the two were not "argumentative…. I understand his viewpoint. And he understands mine."

4. The "Lump in the bed" is a LIAR as well
She stood behind the claim for over a month that Bush* wrote her a poem and left it on her pillow. More than a month later she finally admitted Bush* did not write the poem..

5. I used to like Laura till she refused to take responsibility for the accident
blaming the night , stop sign and even the victims car. But maybe, after all this time, she just can't face it. I don't understand who , if you are pro-choice and support gay marriage, how you can support the efforts of someone working to drestroy those beliefs. She was originally a Democrat and admitted she didn't vote for her FIL for President in an Oprah Magazine interview. She never gave a real interviw again. Even if she genuinely loves George, I would think she would have worked to support those issues. Somehow, I think the TPTB controlled her.But then, I cannot understand Maitlin and Carville either.

6. Laura Bush: Coward

The time for her to come out in favor of abortion and gay marriage was when she was first lady, not now when no one gives a shit about what she says.
