Specter is playing Democrats for fools... |
He has screwed us every which way from Sunday for the last 40 years and now he wants our votes. The only reason he switched to the Democratic Party was because he knew he could not win the Republican primary. This was his last ditch effort to cling to his Senate seat. He is not a Democrat. It would be foolish to vote for him. Sorry Arlen.

1. Well hey Specter was a Democrat before he was a Republican, before he became a Democrat. |
I wouldn't trust him as far as I could throw him.

2. I won't vote for him on Tuesday. I don't know anyone who indicated that they would vote for him, |
except for some DU'ers who are defending/supporting him. Almost all of my aquaintenances are seniors and they are suspicicious of his switch and some (including me) think he would switch back after he played us like fools.

5. The one thing I'll say about him is that unlike others |
he's at least open about straddling the fence. I have to wonder how many of his peers in gop posts hold their noses and court the rwinger crowd because that's what will get them elected? I realize there are true believers who buy the gop party line and will follow it til the very end. But there are others who go along and parrot the words in order to fit into the gop power structure. Having said that however we do not need another pretend Democrat in office. There needs to be an unabashed Liberal take his place.
