This is the ABSOLUTELY best line with the best delivery of damned near any president.
The money line is, after the perfect pause, "No".

The only line that comes to mind that might be a topper is Jack Kennedy saying he is the one who escorted Jackie to Europe.

10. Obama still doesn't have the political courage to tell the whole truth.

The economic catastrophe we're in the middle of today is no accident - Republicans know how to drive. The GOP drove the car into the ditch on purpose! And, if they get those keys back they have every intention of doing it again!

This isn't an economic catastrophe, it's a well planned rip off.

17. I liked when at the Health Reform meeting with repubs...
...Obama made the point that if government regulation was always bad we might as well deregulate the meat industry right now. No one was backing that idea. :)

20. yes, you're right
The economy (thankfully) tanked after the Gulf War and made George I a one-termer! And of course there was Perot screaming about the financials which helped. That was an interesting campaign year.

a child, which of course these Republicans are.

22. I hate that our Presidents are judged by their stand-up abilities now
Some Presidents do have innate senses of humor that must help them in the public arena - Kennedy seemed witty, Reagan certainly knew how to manufacture a twinkle in his eye and Obama also has great delivery. Does that make them better or lesser Presidents?

When did this expectation that they could have a comedy career set in? I actually hate the whole White House Correspondents dinner schlock.Let's all just have dinner together and have high school skits and pretend that the lie mongering and misrepresentations are just a day's work but we can laugh together in the end.

At whose expense?
