I was in Mississippi when that happened and today I am in Arizona where another bunch of racist are terrorizing a segment of people. I just don't know why we can't get it right and keep it right.

Thank you for acknowledging the kids down in Jackson State. Last week I saw numerous Kent State tributes. Today, yours is the only--the first?--tribute to the victims of police murder during the antiwar protests of 1970. Come August 29, the date marks the anniversary of the police riot in East Los Angeles where three Mexicano / Chicano victims were slaughtered protesting the Vietnam war.
