Bad News For Republicans Expecting To Retake Congress
The tide, she is a-turnin'. More Americans want Democrats to retain control of Congress, new poll says. Looks like people are waking up to the fact that the Republicans have no new ideas or thoughts on how to improve things. All they know how to do is oppose.

3. Yep
Even the blind could see what the republicans have been doing, trying to make the president fail which will also make the country fail, simply to get back in power. It's all starting to backfire on them, Their attempts to stop a reform bill to stop Wall Street from causing another catastrophe isn't helping them one bit, nor is their continuing push for "more" offshore drilling. I don't care what party you belong to, if you have half a brain the mess in the Gulf proves things are not what they should be when it comes to protecting the environment! A lot of people are going to get hurt by this mess in the Gulf, from all political parties, and those who are worrying about whether the oil will wash up on their shores sooner or later are also not going to want to see more offshore drilling in the near future.

Now the republicans have to to the will of those who are paying them, from the health care industry, financial sectors, to the oil companies, and so they are really in the hot seat. I am sure there are still some morons in the tea party groups that will support defending the likes of BP, Halliburton, GMS, and the other special interest groups dumping millions on the republicans, and some democrats, to stop any reform, but I think this time the vast majority of americans are fed up and don't want to put the republicans back in charge! The democrats need to hit them hard on their past record of "deregulation" for these groups, and they need to force the republicans into voting daily on measures to fix the problems, put tougher regulations in place, and do something to help the average citizen instead of the idiots that are causing all the problems!

Democrats can come out on top in November if they do the right thing and get tough as hell when it comes to reform, and new regulations to prevent not only Wall Street, but all the other corporations who have benefited from deregulation and lock of enforcement of safety issues like with the oil disaster in the Gulf and the recent problems with coal mines! Democrats have to go after them hard, pass tough bills, and show the american people they are willing to do what is right, and not let special interest groups run this country, and destroy it as they go!

6. "Republicans drove the country into a ditch"
"and now they want the keys back." Sorry, Republicans but at some point it just became obvious to everyone that you can't drive. So from now on no driving... well maybe in the driveway on Saturdays, but that's it.
