FOUND: What goes on in a Glenn Beck viewer's head

I'm willing to bet I'm not the only person who wonders when he hears about Glenn Beck crying and calling people Nazis, how exactly do people actually sit and watch that stuff for more than 15 seconds without shooting the television?

I think I found out.

Lewis Black recently took Glenn Beck to task, saying that he uses "More Nazi Imagery Than The History Channel" after Glenn was offended that there are people, he says, that are comparing Arizona to Nazis.

How did Glenn Beck fans spin this?

Some quotes:

DENIAL:
"It would be funny except Beck has not shown lots of film of Hitler or film of Nuremburg. (Insulting another commenter). Black is a left-wing nut. He is just preaching to the choir."

"To be clear Stooge, Glenn ALWAYS says he’s not comparing Obama to Nazi’s in the terms of the awful things he did to jews, he’s comparing similar policies that were put into place at that time in history. You know that old saying, those who forget history are doomed to repeat it. We need to look at the policies being put into place by this admin and look at the direction it’s sending us. I’m of the opine that we’re headed for Greece."

RESPONDING WITH NONSENSE:
"Yet another lib attacking Glenn without going after the substance. Why, because they can’t."
(What does that even mean? First off, it's kind of hard to go after substance when you don't exactly have a lot of substance to go after. Secondly Lewis Black criticized the content and delivery of Glenn Beck's so-called ideas, Lewis Black didn't do an ad hominem.)

MISINFORMED:
"Obama’s favorite pastor is best buds with a guy who has called Hitler a ‘great man’. Don’t hold your breath waiting for Lewis to comment on that one."
(Even if one considered Jeremiah Wright to be Obama's favorite pastor, he has never said this.)

"Snip takes the old “have you stopped beating your wife?” approach. Yeah, Snip. The left is always saying Beck is an idiot, yet they consider him smart enough to get away with murder for years, with no accusations coming from anyone except the far left. Makes perfect sense."
(That's right, there are people that actually think the "Glenn Beck raped and murdered a girl" is a serious thing and not a joke on the conspiracy theories and "He hasn't denied it, so it must be true" thing!)

MINIMIZATION:
"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh, I remember years ago when Lewis Black was funny and a little relevant, but alas, he is neither anymore."

"Oh, BTW, Teaasshole, NBC poll last night found 64% of Americans supported the Arizona law."

"I have just been reminded why I never watch comedy central. No talent buffoons like Black is a bit more than a rational mind can endure."

STILL MAKES NO SENSE:
"Hey, Lewis, when the Arizona cops start shiping illegal immigrants to death camps and conduct medical experiments on them, get back to us."

It's clear that to be a Glenn Beck fan, one must run a gauntlet of ignorance, spinning, contradictions, thought terminating cliches (Like "Well, you're just a Nazi!"), cognitive dissonance, and just plain not thinking about things in order to agree and support his views.
