The only silver lining will be for BP if they are able to "siphon" enough oil from their amazing "discovery" gusher to make the destruction to the rest of us pay.

Even if you can (eventually) do that, it's going to be much more expensive than simply pumping uncontaminated oil. BP can only get usable oil out of this reservoir if they seal the current well and drill a new one elsewhere. This situation is enough of a disaster without adding conspiracy theories on top of it.
