I'd love to see Hasselback and L. Bush wake up and totally reject the RW movement!

1. which only goes to show how hard will be Palin's fall...
When she commits just a few more self-benefiting offenses, such as her support for Fiorina...

2. Freeps have a tendency to think women are only good for 2 or 3 things
Edited on Sun May-16-10 05:10 PM by SmileyRose
and when said woman is no longer useful for those limited purposes (or when the Freep gets bored) then she is without any value of any sort.

And yes, Palin will go the way of Katherine Harris in short order.

3. Did Hasselback get hit in the head? Aside from a blow to the head, I cannot imagine any other way of
light actually getting into that dark, airless space.

Sorry, but she has said far too may hateful things for me to make nice just because she said this one thing.

17. I was thinking the same.
I remember that Liz was against same sex marriage and has stated in so many words that she didn't approve of homosexuality. I guess her opinions have changed.

4. Guru Beck has proclaimed that empathy is always a bad thing
and so his followers are busy doing witch-hunts for anyone on the right who dares to show a bit of it, on any subject. Understanding people who aren't exactly like you, or showing consideration for them, is actually 'evil' in BeckWorld.

The nearest thing that Beck allows his acolytes to show is 'charity', but only if you make a big noise about it, and look down on the recipients, and talk about how it was necessary for you to have money to do it.

5. I think Laura knew it was going to happen and she doesn't
care.

Elizabeth is going to try to get back in their graces.

It's a a matter of time for Sarah to do something or say something stupid to piss the Freepers off.....I am waiting with baited breath!!

8. Wise words here:
 and :wtf:

"If marriage has no reference to children, then it is not marriage at all. Tax policy subsidizes families with children because society needs children or it soon ceases to exist. We are headed down that road. There are a huge number of unmarried women who will never be part of a traditional family, and if they have children, a large portion will be unproductive. If the number of gay men increases, that further reduces the number of children. The end result is a “mule” society. Mules are often good workers, but they they don’t leave progeny to take their place when they get old and die."

to marry. Unmarried mothers don't get married based on whether gay men and women are allowed to marry.

You know what. Why am I bothering to refute this crap? What an idiot.

16. Sheesh
Yeah, 7 billion plus people overburdening the planet, and these geniuses are worried about the human race ceasing to exist. If humanity ends itself, it won't be for failure to produce offspring; it will be because we poisoned our environment so badly we couldn't continue.

10. Bill O'Reilly got tossed under, too! lol
To: OldDeckHand

That blithering, blathering, bloviating idiot, Bill O'Reilly, is a semi-regular feature on "The Spew".

He really gets off on being the center of attention on the couch surrounded by Star Wars bar-scene female freakazoids.

Along with any and all brain-dead viewers, BOR is an enabler for these amoral, unwholesome women.

18. Wow! They now hate Elisabeth Hasselbeck, who spent years carrying Bush's water?
This is the GREATEST DAY EVER!

The RNC and the producers of "The View" have been positioning EH as the "conservative viewpoint" on that program for years now. She couldn't wait to tell everyone how often she got invited to the White House, etcetera, during the previous administration. I wondered to myself why she didn't just leave for FOX. After all, she's everything they love: A dumber than paste, big ol' knockers version of the token blonde on their morning show. She can regurgitate bullet points from the RNC blastfax and little else.

It is hysterical that FR has now turned on her; I predict her fifteen minutes is now at 14:55 as a result. Even Barbara Walters demanded she "apologize" to Erin Andrews of ESPN last week, after EH's very public and savage comments about a woman who was stalked and had her life threatened.

Please, please, please tell me that the door is about to hit her where the good Lord split her. There are few people in public life I dislike more than the vapid, stupid and irrelevant Elisabeth Hasselbeck.

-MV

p.s. EH's brother in law plays for Seattle's pro football team. When Bush last visited Seattle for Dave Reichert's fundraiser (tying up traffic all over the region for SIX HOURS for a measly $17,000 after expenses,) Matt Hasselbeck presented him with an autographed jersey. The outcry was so quick and so loud that the team released a statement within 48 hours that the White House requested it. I love the Seahawks, but I won't cry when Hasselbeck finally retires. He's as much a RW wacko as his SIL is.

I wish those on the left would refuse to follow their example, but alas, many still desire a purge of the Democratic Party.

ABC’s Hasselbeck Recommends Conservatives Stop ‘Hating’ on Gay Marriage

Oh shut up!
Empty headed women like Hasselbeck have no business even being heard on national TV. It's a sad state of affairs in this country, when national television has pinheads like like Hasselbeck, Joy Baher and Whoopi Goldberg, being given free reign to polute the air we breathe, with their inane nattering.
