Survivor: The Gulf

It would seem that the only way to get a lot of American's attention is to put a reality show on teevee. I have heard more about Kate, Snooki, DWTS, AI, NeNe, and others than I have heard about the wars, Wall Street, and the Gulf put together. I am sure they are vital to America's security.

Jeff Probst needs to take his band of fools down to a place on the Gulf shores where the tar balls are already washing ashore. Then they should set up some real life challenges for them to get through. Removing a dolphin carcass might get some attention. Bathing in the oily water might get some also.

I'm not sure there is any other way to break through to people what reality refers to. It's not a supposed place in the wilds of Borneo or whatever. It is being homeless on the streets or living with sudden overwhelming pollution. That would be REALITY.

(I am not confining reality to those 2 situations. I'm sure people can name hundreds more)
