Why are Right Wing scumbags advertising on DU????
Case in point. Mark Neumann, running for Governor of Wisconsin. Mark is a dyed-in-the-wool Republican that wants to sue the feds to roll back what he calls "Obamacare", reduce regulations on business, etc, etc, etc.

When you link to his site thru the link DU is showing, these opinions are nowhere - nor is the fact he's a Republican. Link: http://www.strongwisconsin.com/jobs/whymark?gclid=CN6mtqbP2aECFRBx5Qod0G_NKQ

However, when you go to his regular site, you'll find he's almost in the Tea Party.

Deceptive? You bet. The otherwise uninformed DU visitor might think Mark's presence on the site somehow validates him as a liberal.

Would appreciate comments from the moderators.

Thanks,

Scuba

1. Donate. No ads, no problems, and you might win something cool. nt

2. It's google adsense at work
that just feeds off keywords, no context. Since we talk about the RW loonies a lot,

When we get one that's particularly egregious, we can notify admin and they will ask Google to drop it.

Other than that a donation of meager amounts keeps the ads away. :-)

3. For the benefit of the lurking FReepers and stalkers
There are enough of them that it pays to advertise to them, apparently.

7. You Should Thank Them...
Thanks to their ad money, it's helping keep certain areas of DU open to those who don't or can't afford to donate. I'd rather see their money squandered here than used to actually get any votes. From what I can tell, their money is as green as anyones.
