Meg Whitman is DOOMED !!!

Meg Whitman endorsed by former VP Cheney

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Former eBay Inc. executive and California gubernatorial candidate Meg Whitman has won the support of Dick Cheney, the former vice president, who said she's "the Republican Democrats fear most" in November and the "toughest Republican candidate," according to a column he wrote last week in the Orange County Register, a Southern California newspaper. While saying he admired the private-sector success of fellow Republican Steve Poizner, Cheney wrote that he has concerns about "whether he truly adheres to the conservative principles" of the party. Whitman, he added, is "a leader with conviction" and "a true fiscal conservative."

1. Cheney is as much a fiscal conservative as I am a Republican.

2. If Meg wants to win she should have said:
"Cheney is a leader who in all justice should be up for 'conviction' ".

3. Never has so much been spent to say so little
really her campaign is nothing but a cliche of Republican talking points.

4. Meg strikes me as a cookie cutter CEO type.
she must shine with board members and the dimmer MBA types in an office but she's piss poor with the grunts and peons. She's managed to alienate the republican party stenographers on SF Gate along with lots of the so-called political press here in the golden state. Her commercials tell me more about her opponent than what she stands for. Her opponent just launched commercials in support of the new laws in AZ, BTW.

Jerry Brown has spent a fraction of what she's spend and is pretty much at the same levels in the pols.

first she got pathetic Sarah's endorsement and now dead eye Dick. way to go Megs.

8. It will be Jerry Brown and I'm sure he knows exactly what he's going
to make his message against her about.

7. Her commercials show her stating that California should be run like a business
just like she ran E-Bay. What she going to sell? All our California owned assets? However, we have had Arnold now doing just that and look at what a mess he's made. I think we want California governed for the people. There is no product to be made or sales to be made on the product to produce a profit. There is no business there to run. I hope voters see this.
