Carlos the Jackal: No party in Venezuela to support the revolution
Venezuelan terrorist Ilich Ramírez Sánchez, who is serving a life term in France for a triple murder in París in 1975, said on Friday that in his country "just one bullet would be enough to topple the revolution."

"Carlos", a legend of the 70's for carrying out commando operations in Europe and Africa, argued that "if someone kills Chávez, the government will be toppled because there is no party in power."

"He is alive, thanks to Fidel and Raúl (Castro) and thanks to Ramiro Valdés," Carlos said when questioned about the security of Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, AFP reported.

"Just one bullet would be enough to topple the revolution in Venezuela because the country would not resist the death of Chávez," Ramírez said.

1. Right. That's why the 2002 coup was so successful!

3. An expression of wishful thinking
Thankfully an unfulfilled expression at that. Though Chavez can be annoying those that seek to replace him are far, far worse.

5. hard to say really
Certainly there is a contextual framework to questioning him and reporting it. Merely associating Chavez with Carlos is part of the unending hate machine against Chavez.
