I think tomorrow's primaries are going to be very interesting |
|
and I think they'll give us a picture of what November will look like. What happens in AZ if McCain loses to Hayworth? Does that give the dem a chance? What happens if Lincoln loses in Arkansas? Could Halter pull it off in November? Sestak certainly stands a better chance against Toomey than Arlen does.

1. In our little world here in W PA, my wife and I don't know a single person who is going to vote for |
|
Specter tomorrow. We have contact with a lot of people in organizations that we belong to and most of them are Democrats and we know them well enough to talk about voting.

2. The Arizona primary doesn't happen for quite some time |

I found that it's on August 24th, do you have different information?
It won't make any difference between Halter and Lincoln, we lose this one to the Pukes in the fall. But a big Halter win might convince some Democratic candidates in marginal districts to throw in the towel. With Specter, the party switch is one reason a lot of Democratic candidates would ignore his loss, saying "it couldn't happen to me." But that would be a bit harder with a sizable loss by Lincoln.
