I suspect that there will be both criminal and civil charges in the BP case. It make take a while to get going. Any investigation will run into the problem that they were drilling with permits given them by the Obama administration. They were not required to perform any kind of ecological impact report. I've seen reports that they have some real legal problems, but a case won't get going for a while.

When nobody cared, an oil slick happened.


It would be a guess as to why, who, its extent, and effect.


But it takes only a few minutes to think of ways that it could be stopped, so either the news stories are not accurate, or people are not trying to stop it.

I would guess it is a metaphor for the corruption in the system. And how it is now being scene, and how it will be reversed and justice will again be in place.



If it is as bad as news reports say, then probably someone wants to do it to create diversion and distraction and get people to not go after that corruption. The method shows the side it is from. Black oil, ecological damage, deception, destruction. It fits with many other programs that have been going on for decades.


But you can not back down to wrong, or you join it. So it should not effect the other clean ups in many places around the world. Any of the groups in secret, Corporate corruption, social policy corruption, Intelligence agencies, and many other groups and sectors. Much work to do for sure.

They have already said they have a "back-up" plan, to mud over the whole thing and bury it. So if they have a plan why the hell are they not doing it?
