1. Aw jeez, not this shit again!


It's far far easier to mess with a car's brakes by snipping the lines underneath than to break into a car, attach a computer, hide the computer, and follow the car along closely enough to establish an ad hoc wireless connection.

6. This is BY DESIGN
You connect a computer to the OBD II port and you have access to the on board computer.

This is not a bug. It is a design requirement.

The machinations one must go through to allow remote wireless access are laughable. The OBD II port is under the dash. Do you seriously think somebody is not going to notice the computer sitting on the floor or the cable that hits their knees?
