Democrats are voting in bigger numbers than Republicans?
Edited on Tue May-18-10 08:57 PM by David Zephyr
In primaries?

In mid-term primaries?

This is very, very bad news for the Republicans.

I think I am actually going to exhale for one moment.

That's the headline tonight: Democrats are going to the polls. :)

1. Looks like the county has had enough.

2. Mid-Terms
Don't read too much into it. People generally only go to polling places for mid-term elections if there's a really interesting race.

6. Kentucky had a very interesting race for the GOP.
And more Democrats voted than Republicans. Same in good old PA.

This repudiates all the teabag noise.

Tempest in a teapot. That's all it was. A tempest in a tea pot.

The GOP should be nervous tonight.

10. Kentucky never had a race for the GOP
They called it as soon as the polls closed. But take it as you will. There's no sea change in voting habits. Seriously.

3. That should be the story.....
But will it be? That is the question.

7. It should be indeed.
Maybe we can help make it the story.

It is the screaming headline.

The tea party movement was a tempest in tiny little teapot.

I'm very, very happy tonight.

12. We should take cheer in the voter turn-out.
This might be three in a row this November.

5. IF this plays out that way then the Left had better damned well take notice
Edited on Tue May-18-10 09:00 PM by WeDidIt
2012 could be the year that the Left actually makes up a majority of the Democratic Caucus so long as the left strategically targets primaries.

8. It's great news for John McCain, though
As the media liked to spin any news back in 2008...

9. Oh, noes! This means certain doom for the democrats!
Somehow... I'm not sure how yet. I'll have to wait for the media to tell me how it means the republicans are going to win big in November.

13. LOL yeah, no kidding.
I don't see our own doom-and-gloom squad out yet, but I'm sure we'll get an earload from them as well. :D

14. Well, I am a doom and gloom guy and I have to tell you: number don't lie.
Democrats went out and voted today in big numbers in mid-term primaries.

This trend began in 2006 when Dr. Dean began his Quixotic 50-state strategy and which energized and reminded Democrats to vote. They are.

It's terrific and this doom and gloom guy doesn't have a problem admitting I might be wrong.

Great night.

15. Don't think the GOP is not noticing the Dem turnout.
Between now and Nov they will be focusing on how to distance themselves from the teabaggers. Nov is going to surprise a lot of pundits.
