PA 12th... supposed to be a bellweather for the fall... McCain won it in 2008 |

CRITZ, MARK S. (DEM) 39,995 55.1% BURNS, TIM (REP) 30,957 42.6%

Tim Burns is the teabagger candidate.... Locally right-wing talk show host Jim Quinn has been pushing him big time.
If this is a "bellweather" for the fall, then things aren't looking as bad as the media says for the Democrats...

1. Matthews and Fineman are saying otherwise. |

Per these two dingbats, the Democrats have only a small chance at keeping small majorities in either chamber. :eyes:

2. This one had me worried. |

I'm surprised that Critz is doing so well. The local media made it sound as if it was a toss-up.
They both ran annoying, negative ads. Critz is a very conservative dem, though. There were a lot of great people who didn't get the nod.

4. Critz was an aide to Murtha. I hope he won't be the Congressman from Lockheed/Boeing |

3. Ever see polling on whether Republicans like or dislike teabaggers? |
|
Me neither.
I bet its because it would destroy the MSM's desire to paint the baggers as a viable political force.
I think they just splinter the GOP, but thats fine with me!
