On Blumenthal....
You don't get to say it once. You don't get to say it EVER.

I've said here often I am a Vietnam ERA veteran who served in COLORADO in the condo army.I've said it in bars and to EVERY vet I've ever met.

I have respect for every veteran. There are tiers of respect and I am near the bottom. Above me are non-combat vets that served in-country in Vietnam.

Above that are non-combat veterans occasionally exposed to hostile fire.

And Gods to me are the Rock and Rollers who walked into "Indian country" with an M-16 and a prayer.

Richard Blumenthal had multiple articles written about him in the largest newspapers in Connecticut identifying him as serving in Vietnam.Saying he didn't read the articles is a lie and failing to correct them was a fatal error of omission.

A family member is a Vietnam combat vet from Connecticut and I would rather piss on his leg than support or make excuses for Blumenthal.

2. The left is stupid.
Both on air and off. Most are calling for Richard's head without looking at the facts, including his work on behalf of veterans.

4. including his work on behalf of veterans
And (the real reason he's a target) his fights against the big investment firms.

8. It doesn't matter WHY he's a target...
It's matters why he is vulnerable to the hit. Behave honorably and your character cannot be honestly impugned.

3. Nope...
Once without an immediate retraction is a game ender. It is not an omission or mistake-it is the theft of respect due to others.

7. I agree and sadly it is multiple times both by himself and in articles written about him
which he never corrected/clarified.

The man didn't want to be in a war, nothing wrong with that except later in life he decided he wanted to be a war hero. It doesn't work that way.

9. Show me they lied or the story is false.
I HELPED go after "W" for his phony "fighter pilot" crap. I won't ignore it because it helps Democrats to ignore blatant hypocracy.

11. You've stated it well
Blumenthal is beneath the scum on the surface of hot dog boiling water.
