4. He supported Sestak (and Lincoln) because he needs their votes in the Senate.

10. Pretty sure he's had the 'ignore' button on for the left since November 5, 2008.

8. Because it is a lose/lose situation for the President. He pisses off
Sestak supporters for getting involved in the primary and telling who to vote for. He pisses off Specter voters for not keeping his promise and doing enough. The net gain for the President - he pissed off a lot of people.

9. The gain was getting Specter's vote in the Senate for the past year when he needed it.
He couldn't wait until January 2011 for it.
