Good. The repubs are going anti immigrant again!
The more people support anti immigrant moves the more Hispanics turn out to vote and they vote Dem. The Arizona anti immigrant law will help Dems in CA because the repubs will run favoring the law.

4. good good good
Remember when we voted on that stupid law that doctors and nurses and teachers were supposed to report undocumented kids and sick people?

All the doctors and nurses and teachers said they would NOT report anyone.

That was 1996? I think, and the Cal Supreme Court SHOT it down!!

10. Prop 187 turned the whole State over to the Dems.
The only thing the repubs had going was to blame the Enron blackouts on Davis.

2. Oh Yeah! Let it Be Let It Be!!
I'm worried about growers and sellers voting against it or just not supporting it.
They are freaking about prices dropping.

And I sure don't want some corporation shoving in on our cash crop!

I want to get and keep people out of jails and progress into the 21st century.

12. I am having a voter information phone bank on the 29th to tell people how bad prop 16 is and others.

The Courage Campaign of which I am deputy field organizer is having phone banks all this week and next.

If we work hard enough maybe we can educate some people.

Courage Campaign

Dear DUers

For progressives to win on June 8 in California, we need to build community. This is where you come in.

As the election draws near, Californians are experiencing a sustained attack on democracy and people power by greedy corporations who have only their own interests in mind.

Progressives need to defeat PG&E's Prop 16 and Mercury Insurance's Prop 17 because these initiatives are designed to increase corporate profits by undermining community control and consumer protections. And we need to pass Prop 15 to clean up our elections.

With hundreds of thousands of Courage Campaign members registered to vote in California, we can stop these corporations and defend our democracy. But most Californians won't head to the polls or mail back their absentee ballots unless we convince them of the importance of their vote.

That's why we're going to win by building community. To turn out the progressive vote on June 8, we're going to kick off our GOTV campaign by connecting Courage Campaign members to each other.

It's called CALL FOR CALIFORNIA and we need you to sign up for a phone-from-home training today. Not only will you be making a difference by getting out the vote -- you'll also be getting to know Courage Campaign members just like yourself.

If you have a phone and an internet connection, we need your help. Please sign up now for a short CALL FOR CALIFORNIA training, so you can make calls to Courage Campaign California members and make sure they vote for progress on June 8:

http://www.couragecampaign.org/CallForCalifornia

Vote-By-Mail ballots are being cast right now across California. If we can talk to Courage Campaign California voters about these propositions ASAP, it will make the difference between victory and defeat on Election Day.

If you've never made phone calls to voters, it's easy. Because we're turning out the vote by educating and inspiring Courage members, you'll almost always be talking with a voter in California who supports progressive values.

We will personally train you over the phone before your shift, give you a script and all of the resources you need to make calls from home, or even with a team of friends.

The June 8 election could come down to a handful of voters. An extra nudge from a fellow Courage member like you is what will motivate another Courage member to vote -- and to tell their progressive friends to vote. Please click here to sign up and get started:

http://www.couragecampaign.org/CallForCalifornia

Thank you for everything you are doing to make California more progressive.
