Repigs Sen. Sam Brownback, Gov. Mike Huckabee, and Rep. Tom Tancredo don't believe in evolution? |
|
That is unbelievable when you stop and think about it.
Follow up question should have been if they thought the world was flat?

2. Another question in between |
|
Is the earth and the universe billions of years old or 6000 years old?
(I'm guessing they think it is only 6000... getting them to admit it completely marginalizes them to just their evangelical base voters)

4. The closer they get to the primaries, more of them will say they believe that the |

earth is flat. All of them have to follow the Bible literally and will be quoting it. The Christian fundamenalists still control the party.

5. Well, they are certainly good counter-examples to the theory of evolution! |
|
Mind you, they are even stronger counter-examples to any theory of intelligent design!

7. Evolution isn't something you "believe in". |
|
It's a scientific fact. I observe the effects of gravity, but I wouldn't really say I "believe in it". It's just true.
If all scientists were Republicans, we would have given gravity a name by now and there would be churches established to pray to it. You'd better do whatever the gravity priests say or you will float right off the (flat) earth!

9. An Indictment Of How Backwards This Country Is |
|
In any other Western country, this question wouldn't have even have been asked. They might as well have asked for a show of hands who believe the sun rises in the west and are babies delivered by storks. What a scary thought that any of these asshats would ever be in a position of crisis and instead of thinking clearly, they'd be in the corner holding a prayer vigil. The fact that grown men would admit such ignorance to the world speaks volumes about both their corrupt party and its braindead lemmings.
