1. The stupid is on purpose. The MSM wants Dems to win? |
|
Only when it gave them good ratings in 2008 with Hillary and Obama.

2. But that's not the message that the "liberal" media wants to project. |
|
It's all about how they frame it. It doesn't matter if it's based in reality or not, they will portray anything and everything as being bad for Democrats in November.

5. It bodes ill for the incumbents. |
|
The primary vote has been anti-incumbency. Assuming Halter wins the runoff (and I do) then it's far better than the likes of Blanche WalMart and Arlen the Bush Crime Family coverup flunkie were taken out now, by Democrats, than to be taken out by Toomey, and whatever teabag Klansman freeper shit for brains Arkansas came up with in November.
And this is exactly why I have said that Obama should not be supporting candidates in the primaries who are not worthy of Democratic support. Such as Lincoln. Such as Specter. Such as that appointed idiot in Colorado who replaced the other idiot Salazar, etc.
Because the ones who deserve to go down are going to go down. And its better now than in November.

7. It bodes ill for *SOME* incumbents |
|
Not all of them.
Properly targeting GE races could keep the Dems to no net loss in November. If the jobs numbers pick up, the Dems could actually gain seats.
The key to take away from this night, though, is the left has an incredible opportunity with 2012. By properly targeting incumbents in 2012 primaries, there could be a seismic shift to the left in Congress come January 3, 2013. Even those who squeak by will have been put on notice.

6. Only "close" races are good for cable-news ratings. |
|
Bear that in mind whenever a punditmouth is open, and punditlips are moving. Sometimes they're shading the truth, sometimes they're outright misspeaking!
