2. that is a hard claim to make - although I have heard it many times this morning
it was 2 different groups of voters. To try to position the candidates as though it were a single population of voters is just not valid.

5. Agree, but almost every "analyst" is trying to claim some huge win for the tea party.
And, outside of this one Republican KY race, there is really not one good argument based on all of last nights results.

I'm just showing that, even in KY; with a supposed fired up tea party, Rand Paul couldn't even get enough votes to beat the top two Democrats.

The tea party couldn't even get enough turnout to beat the top two democrats in a red state - hardly spin in my opinion.

7. No. You must be registered as a Democrat to vote in Democrat primary.
But, that's not really my point.

The turnout for a race that no one was talking about outnumbered the more popular one by 60%. Not too shabby for a red state like Kentucky.
