http://icasualties.org/oif/prdDetails.aspx?hndRef=5-2007">25 have died since Bush's bloody pen signed the veto.

As the Republicans http://www.latimes.com/news/nationworld/politics/wire/sns-ap-iraq-republicans,1,4561547.story?coll=sns-ap-politics-headlines&ctrack=2&cset=true">plan to sit on their hands until September.

How many more must die while they sit ?

Let them know through our voices and our purses. Join http://www.actblue.com/page/roadblockrepublicans">Senator Kerry and Ned Lamont and send them a message loud and clear. Give us a roadblock and we'll give you a road out of DC.

1. "Waist deep in the big muddy and big fool says to push on" Pete Seeger 1963
During the Vietnam war he was finally allowed to sing this and other anti-war songs on the Smothers Brothers, after being censored for years.

K&R Bless these dear soldiers and their families, and God help us and the poor devastated country of Iraq. God help us....

3. This is a way to pressure the Republicans to see that it
would be better to join us on this issue - because it is the right thing to do and because it will signal that people are willing to write letters and give money against them if they don't.

We already have all the Democratic Senators behind us, along with 2 Republicans, we need to stop the lock step voting of most Republicans.

5. That is exactly how the Iraq funding veto should be handled
Constantly and in their face. Let the rabid right know the consequences of their guy's hissy fit.

6. That really puts it in perspective. This is what is at stake.
Not only are Iraqi politicians procrastinating, but American Republican ones, too. They know they have failed but are putting off the inevitable, while our soldiers pay the ultimate price.

7. Since none of thier children or loved ones are in danger, I assume
they really are not that worried about how long to hold out.....to them it is nothing more than a game with the pawns the only ones in real danger.

8. Sad reminders:

Republicans refuse to do anything to stop the blood bath in Iraq. We could have had President Kerry and Senator Lamont instead of Bush and Lieberman (Bush Enabler-CT). Sigh!
