.... the squishy, stand-for-nothing "middle". People want people who STAND FOR SOMETHING. They aren't in much of a mood for "reaching out" or "bipartisanship".

7. Do you really think so?
I just sent in my ballot because I'm voting for her this primary. I don't usually vote in primaries but this time I made sure to vote.

I find it very hard to believe that anyone who has voted for her before won't vote for her again. It just doesn't make sense. She's an outstanding Senator.

8. Not in the primary, in the general.

I don't understand it either, but for an incumbent Democratic Senator in a Democratic state, her poll numbers aren't very good: low single digit lead against the most viable Republican opponent.

Let's hope I'm overreacting! She is indeed an outstanding Senator, and I hope she is re-elected in a landslide.

I wonder if that person meant Carly Fiorina. We shall see as November gets closer.

5. Kinda looks like...
...the democrats are moving more progressive and the republicans are moving more conservative.

The final showdown?

Ceiling cat vs. Basement cat?

11. IMHO it's a matter of "moderates" being in trouble in both parties
I'm not against it, to tell you the truth. The more they put up crazies for our liberals to run against, the happier I am.

It appears Moderates in both parties are in trouble.

15. Moderates come from more conservative areas
which is why they are in trouble.

Liberals come from areas that reliably vote Democratic, so they don't have to worry as much.
