So Glenn Beck is a new member of my HS alumni site

I knew he had graduated 8 years before me, but tripped me out to see that nutjob's name on my alumni spring newsletter. Not that I'm that into the sentimentality of HS or even thinking of going to my 20th reunion, but to see his name on the new members list felt like a violation somehow, an evil taint had entered my space. yuck.

Wonder what compelled him to join now, maybe he is feeling lonely and needing some validation and attention since his ratings have plummeted lately?

anyhow, just caught me off guard and felt like sharing with someone in the middle of the night.

admitting ties to this guy is good for the school's rep?

4. would love to be a fly on the wall

and makes me wonder if we had some of the same teachers, like Mr Firebaugh (his real name, weird how it's so close to the Limbaugh) the civics teacher. I remember he brought his antique gun to class one day to pass around, can you imagine that happening nowadays?

have a few assholes and idiots as alumni. But yes, he's special.

3. plenty of those at Sehome, for sure, but none so famous

it brings shames to the name of my school. Too bad he is the most well known simply because he is so hateful and downright looney, and overshadows our real star alumni, an Oscar award winning actress (Hilary Swank) who has a heart of gold and helped rescue animals after hurricane Katrina.

After all that hoopla with his "key to the city" visit to Mt. Vernon you gotta wonder what he is thinking signing up and practically inviting hate mail. Maybe the site admins invited him specifically to help generate membership upgrade, for all I know.
